Cars & Coffee is a big thing nationwide, but especially in California. Sadly, we don’t get nearly the amazing car show that some of California gets on a weekly basis, but it is a ton of fun and a vast contrast to the other weekly “car meets.”
I really can’t argue with a trip to Starbucks, along with plenty of car chatter, on a Saturday morning. Just sad that I have to work so much, otherwise I’d get to go to more of these.
Of course, a lot of the same people show up. But you do get some new people as well, so it’s always an interesting mix. The best thing is that everyone likes cars, so you know you’ve got something in common.
And while we don’t get the Lamborghinis or Ferraris or other amazingly expensive cars that some cities get, there’s usually enough for me to want to take oddly creative snapshots of the cars there. (Enough to keep me occupied, give me something to snap pictures of and, best of all, cool car people to talk to.)
It’s another small exercise of my lack of photography skill. Taking a picture of a car is just a car, but taking a picture that means something to me… Well, I hope that there’s somebody else who gets some meaning out of it, too. We all know what a Porsche Carrera looks like, but maybe seeing it in a slightly different way is sometimes better.
Without further ado, some more of my fledgling wanna-be car photographs:

Hey Foxie! How do you like WordPress? Maybe I should prove over there.
If you want to post more about cars, just buy that M3 you were looking at!
Rgds,

It’s great, actually.
Seems a bit more complicated than blogger, but after over a year there I had the whole blogging thing down pat.
LOL, would be nice, eh?
Sadly, I think my husband might win with the C63 AMG, and nobody would want to read about a boring high performance luxury sedan.
Our 240SX gives me plenty of personal car stuff to write on! (Rear Upper Control Arms went in yesterday and today, for example.)
