Cars X Girl

I am in love with this car.

It’s no surprise that the European car scene rocks it hardcore. My husband has some awesome stories of the car guys he ran into while he lived in England. Sadly, when I went and spent three weeks with him in England back in 2006, cars weren’t a huge deal to me like they are now… Sad, isn’t it? I mean, I remember seeing my very first Skyline in person, but the only pics I’ve taken of a Skyline are Stateside! :(

Just for that, I know that the next time I go to Europe I am going to soak in the car culture. My hubby told me about the time he went to Jap Fest, and I really want to go. Plus the Festival of Speed, the Nurburgring and Le Mans. Yeah, I can’t wait to do my own planned out European car tour.

So it’s no surprise that the cars over there are drop dead amazing. Well, I’ve fallen head over heels for this one in particular….

I fell hard for this car, she's amazing!!

Hellooooo RB26 swapped Sil-Eighty.

Why I love this car:

1. Sil-80!!!!!!

2. RB26DETT, one of my favorite cars with one of my favorite engines!!

3. Gold Work VS-XX’s, how I came across the car. (Searching for gold VS-XX’s on Sil-Eighties.)

4. Riveted Fender Flares.

Yeah, I think the car is drop dead sexy. I would go insane if I ever saw her in person… And probably freak her poor owner out. I sometimes take a lot of guys by surprise because I go all girlie and start spazzing out over cars like girls spazz out over the perfect sweater at the mall.

While I don’t want mine to look exactly like this, it’s scary how close this is to my final vision for the 240SX I own. All told, I love it something hardcore. It’s definitely become some amazing inspiration as I go through the building process with my 240SX. This is the sort of thing we have to look forward to at the end.

For the complete read-up on the car, head over to the feature here, on 180SX.co.uk.

She's one of the most stunning cars I've ever come across, IMO.

All I can really say is WOW. I love you.

In 2007, Meg began learning about cars. Two years later, she had a very modified '97 Miata and a '90 240SX project car, as well as the Rookie of the Year autocross title. Life now completely revolves around cars and she wouldn't have it any other way. CarsxGirl is her way to encourage others to get into racing (it's not horribly expensive!), to document & share her car builds, an outlet to share & improve her automotive photography skills and to show that real car girls do exist!

The Tra-kyoto kits are so sik and that Sil-80 is just another example of how sik their are.

Indeed. It was love at first sight for me, definitely. Now, imagine if this car were purple… :P

I can image it and once I get home I’ll chop it for ya and since its easier for me to change its color

Oooh, thanks! Can’t wait to see that

Last time I was in California I saw a metallic purpley-grey sileighty cruising down the freeway hellaflushed with kouki tails and gold vs-xx’s. It looked pretty incredible.

As for this particular one, I like it, and I appreciate the work thats been done to it, but I don’t think it pulls off the look tra-kyoto intended. Whenever I think 6666 I think wild and crazy, and this car seems a little too subtle for the kit. I really wish someone would try to replicate that original yellow sileighty photochop, now that would be awesome.

Awwwww, I figured I wouldn’t be the first haha. But at least a bit unusual, so I won’t be running around with twins everywhere. :)

You mean this Sil-Eighty? The Tra-Kyoto/Rocket Bunny S13′s have always been some of my favorites… They’re just so, well, blended between looks and performance that I can’t really argue with them haha.
