Cars X Girl

Not sure what I was thinking, but I didn’t take a ton of pictures on this particular morning either. It could have had something to do with the roughly three hours of sleep I got that night after another long day at work. (It was my first week at my new job!) Or maybe I was just really unimpressed with my photos and didn’t want to share too many.

Either way, another short post from Cars & Coffee!

To kick off with, some of our regulars with their e36 M3s. Cute his & hers matching set, right?

Continuing with the bimmers, this M6 was a recent trade in on a Porsche…. And I got to drive her! I honestly was not that impressed, but then again, the M6 is the luxury performance version of the performance luxury M5, and I’m a huge M5 fan. The transmission felt really sluggish, although I apparently wasn’t in the right settings…. Either way, it was fun, but not my style. Perfect for someone looking for a head-turning highway cruise missile, though!

And a shot of the 1986 Turbo-look Carrera. She has sold and will be headed off to her new home, perhaps even on her way or there by the time this is published. Either way, I anticipate that this will be my last photo of her at the dealership.

And that’s it! Short and sweet, right? Hopefully not all of my Friday nights will be getting off of work at 2:00 am, but at the same time I’m working as long as I can while I have the option… My job is only part time, and my regular weeks will be 20 hours. While I make a decent amount, I do need to work on saving up for the Porsche of my own… So I don’t mind putting in the hours. I’ll always get up early for cars when I need to!

Oh, I did drive the 1986 Guards Red Carrera that I’ve posted before, finally. It was quite the experience, and reassures me that I’m making the right choice in the years that I want. I’m finally figuring out what it is I’m looking for and what can be done after buying one…. Hooray for buyer’s research!!
