Shortly after the second local drift day was the third one, and with it free in my calendar otherwise, I once again went out for a bit to take some photos and practice my photography.
I didn’t stay too long, as we wanted to get in some time relaxing at home too, as well as washing and waxing the girls. I got a fair amount of photos I was happy with, though, which is a good thing — I was really quite picky when I decided what to keep and what went.

This was the flyer they had for the event -- and that's MY photo of the Corolla used for it!!!!
This is by no means the entire field of drivers — there were a few cars at least that I didn’t manage to capture.
I will end up sitting out the event in June due to a conflict with my autocross schedule, but I should be back in July!
I’ll start with this nice 240sx that I admired last time — the hatch with the really nice looking cage.

Apparently that hatch and this coupe compete in Evergreen’s series, so I expect to see them out there and trying…. And ripping off bumpers, because it wouldn’t be drifting without SOME damage.

The other car I seemed to have great luck with was this black 240sx coupe. I thought a lot of these shots turned out pretty well.

Nice to see a good looking red hatch out…

And the red 240sx coupe that was at the first event, the one with an RB20DET.

Another 240sx hatch — this time the black one with the white hatch.

Last, but not least, the only non-240sx in my bunch of photos — this nice Toyota Corolla. I think it has one of the best setups of the bunch — completely gutted, cage, and what looks to be a great drift alignment to my novice eyes.

All in all, another fun day, this time much warmer than the event only a couple of weeks prior! I do expect to have good weather for the next one, as that’ll be sometime in July… Not too long before I make the trip to Seattle for Formula D.
