The other day I met up with a couple of my coworkers for lunch before work. And, since it looks so good, here was my lunch to torture everyone:

Yum.
Before that, though, I made my first stop at my local Land Rover/Jaguar dealership. One of my friends had mentioned liking Range Rovers and had never seen the Evoque, so I figured I’d be nice & get her the sales brochure to check out.
Plus I wanted to see if there were any pretty Jags on the lot and to inquire about the F Type. I got no real good news about the F Type…..
Thankfully, there was some nice eye candy. Apparently, there was a recent event in neighboring Coeur D’Alene that Jaguar was at and had brought five cars to. The dealer was housing these gorgeous kitties until Jaguar picked them up again, probably for another event or to go to a dealer who will have no trouble selling them.
Either way, it was total love at first sight for me when I spotted the pair of XJLs. These two Supersports hide a lovely supercharged engine that gives them 510 HP to play with. Yummy. I felt bad for the lone XJ next to them, being overshadowed.

The other two was a pair of XFRs. Yum. Love the classy aggressiveness of these cars.

All in all, the five of them made a great line up….. Very stunning. ![]()

Hopefully an F Type will appear here, though I was told not to expect one until spring of next year at the very least. The guy also said something which I found amusing…. It was in reference to the XJLs, that they were only here temporarily and that wasn’t unusual, because there wasn’t much of a market here for a $126,000+ car….. *giggle*
Pretty sure my favorite Porsche dealer could argue with that. Also the fact that I’ve seen quite a few 7 series BMWs at the dealership here, plus they’ve sold a few Alpinas, or so I’ve been told.
And, at the very least, the Mercedes dealership here had an SLS AMG……
So yeah. The market here is bigger than some people realize, clearly! But that’s okay, I kinda like it this way. I get to feel like I have good inside knowledge of the cars around here. And that makes me feel privileged and special.
