First off, I still have FREE trial subscriptions to give away from Zinio, go here and tell me what you’d like! Five are still up for grabs.
Moving on to the important topic at hand, now….
I can finally introduce you to *MY* Porsche 911!!! ![]()

I don’t have a ton of photos of her yet because I haven’t even brought her home yet, ha. So I’m working on it!
But I can show you how pretty she is….

She’s a 1984, the first year of the 3.2 Carrera. She’s completely original, with original Guards Red paint and the Carrera tail, along with the factory sport steering wheel, short shifter, limited slip differential and16″ Fuchs. We are the third owners from new, and she has complete records from new.
She was also a European delivery car, so she has a set of European rear fog lights, though they aren’t installed at the moment. She is still a US Spec 911, however, not a European Spec.

The interior is a tan & chocolate brown, full leather, with a black leather headliner. I actually like the interior color combo, the tan looks nice with the red but she still has dark carpet, not light. Also the sport seats, which aren’t in awful shape either. I’m told she’s been babied by her original owner, who sold her to a close friend who hardly drove her. She’s at just under 112,000 miles.

Tomorrow she gets her full check up by a great local mechanic, and after her clean bill of health (I hope, but I see no major issues here….) I can take her home!
Needless to say, I’m super excited….. It’s been stressful, yes, but I know it will be worth it. Hopefully there is some nice weather this Saturday, so we can attend our first Euro meet. Beyond that, expect a lot of event coverage that includes a very pretty Guards Red 911….
You go dear daughter. You are the best and one of the most informed women I know, when it comes to cars. And anything else !
Congrats and welcome to the club. Beautiful looking 911. All our Porsches have male names (German ones at that)
