Working for Good Things

One of the things I kept telling myself while I was saving is that, “Good things come to those who work their asses off and never give up, not wait.” I’m sure most of you have seen the beautifully graphic designed posters that say that. I really took it to heart.

So much, in fact, that I worked another day at my second job this past Sunday. This time, I get to put the money towards my short parts list for the 911 instead of her. :) We have to get her ready for her first Seattle trip!

After work, we stopped at Home Depot to get some screws for her license plates that came in. She’s all official!

Lastly, I wrote a guest post for a site quite different than mine here, Budgets Are Sexy. Seems that buying your classic Porsche 911 in cash can be kind of a big deal. :P I found the chance to write for a different audience fun, and a little bit nerve wracking. Most people who aren’t car enthusiasts don’t really understand why we do what we do….. It was nice to receive some positive responses, though!
