Cars X Girl

After bringing home the STi and deciding to sell my two projects, the S2000 has somewhat by default become “mine.” She’s basically the car I drive everywhere. Well, at least everywhere when there isn’t snow on the ground.

My Pretty Girl

I always have, and always will, refer to her as my pretty girl. She was the first car I ever actually got to have after dreaming about buying her. (So, my first realized dream car.)

She’s a 2001 dressed in Silverstone Metallic, and perhaps one day we’ll realize our dream to redress her in Imola Orange. I also want to get her a J’s front bumper yet… Which may be possible when we’re downsized back down to two cars.

We’ve had her since 2007, and have been through a lot, including one major accident where she saved my life. I loved her before that, but going through that made me appreciate her more than I ever thought possible. For that, and many other reasons, I will never, ever get rid of her. She’s a permanent fixture in this family.

I may or may not begin racing her in 2012. I need to see if I feel ready to try that when the time comes.
